Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 August 2026
This policy explains what personal data Arena Teamfight ("we", "us") collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers two separate things: this website, and the Arena Teamfight mobile game.
The data controller is the operator of arenateamfight.com, an independent developer reachable at arenateamfight@gmail.com. Questions, requests and complaints all go to that address and are answered by a person.
1. The website
arenateamfight.com is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, no advertising and no tracking pixels, and runs no JavaScript at all.
The launch notification list
One thing on the site does ask you for data: the signup form. If you submit it we store your email address, the date you submitted it, and the two-letter country Cloudflare resolved your request to. We deliberately do not store your IP address.
We use it to send you one email, when the game is playable. It is not a newsletter, we do not send anything else, and the list is never shared, sold or passed to a mailing platform — the addresses sit in our own storage at Cloudflare. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given by submitting the form. Write to arenateamfight@gmail.com at any time and we will delete your address; we also delete the whole list once the launch email has gone out.
Server logs
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, automatically logs technical request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — for security and abuse prevention. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you and we do not combine them with anything else. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site available (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
2. The game
The game is not released yet. This section describes what the app will do at launch and is published in advance so it can be reviewed. It will be updated, with a new "last updated" date, before the app is available to download.
What we collect
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Anonymous account identifier | Saves your progress without asking you to sign up. Created on the device at first launch. |
| Google or Apple sign-in, if you choose it | Lets you keep your progress across devices. Optional — the game is fully playable without it. We receive an account identifier and email address, never your password. |
| Game progress and match records | Your roster, level, results and replays. A replay is stored as a numeric seed, not a recording of you. |
| Gameplay analytics | Aggregated events — rounds played, features used, where players stop — used to balance and improve the game. |
| Crash and error reports | Diagnosing crashes. Includes device model, OS version and a stack trace. |
| Device and app identifiers | Attaching the above to one installation, and rejecting cheated results. |
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data, to anyone, ever.
- We do not show third-party advertising and we embed no advertising SDK.
- We do not use your data for advertising profiling or cross-app tracking, and the app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission.
- We do not collect your contacts, photos, precise location, microphone or camera.
3. Who processes data for us
We use a small number of established providers, each acting on our instructions and bound by their own data-processing terms:
- Google Firebase — authentication, player data storage, configuration and analytics.
- Google Cloud — the servers that validate match results.
- Sentry — crash and error reporting.
- Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery.
These providers operate globally, so data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Such transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
4. How long we keep it
Account and progress data is kept while your account exists, and deleted within 30 days of a deletion request. Crash reports are kept for 90 days. Analytics events are kept in aggregated form for up to 14 months. Cloudflare's security logs follow Cloudflare's own retention, which is measured in days.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, port it elsewhere, and to withdraw consent where processing rests on consent. In the game you can delete your account and all data attached to it from the settings screen. You can also write to arenateamfight@gmail.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or the UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
6. Children
Arena Teamfight is not directed at children under 13 (or under the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, write to us and we will delete it.
7. Changes
When this policy changes we update the date at the top. Material changes will also be announced in the app before they take effect.
